Maitri Ladies Club of NTPC Barauni inaugurated 3 months long, beautician course for the women of the nearby village on 11.07.2023 at Akansha- a community welfare center run by the Maitri Ladies Club. Around 15 women from nearby communities have enrolled in this certificate course. The training program encompasses a curriculum of basic beautician skills and techniques.

Speaking at the inauguration function, Ms. Roli Khanna (President of Maitri Ladies Club) shared her thoughts on the skill development training program aimed at empowering women and making them self-reliant.
Ms. Nita Sharma, the Welfare In-charge (Maitri Ladies Club) also expressed her joy in commencing this initiative to develop skills amongst the women and encouraged them to be consistent and regular in the classes.
On this occasion, Ms. Renu Yadav (General Secretary, Maitri Ladies Club) while explaining the training program, shared that the 3 classes will be scheduled each week and on successful competition of the course, the participants enrolled shall be given the course competition certificates along with a make-up kit.
The event witnessed, the glimmering and excited faces of the participants, who shall be undertaking the beautician course.
